Artist Statement
I was introduced to the creative world of glass fusion in 2014 and I have been creating two and three dimensional glass work ever since. I love how glass plays with light, color and design. It provides a bit of mystery and surprise in the outcome. I incorporate a variety of different techniques such as vitro graph, mosaic, contouring and temperature control. I also with different glass types such as dichroic, stringer and reactive glass. I find the process of creating art gives me peace and the ability to still believe in the beauty of the world.
I am currently working with Tesuque Glass works for the purpose of creating rollups that turn into vase, bowls and plates.
