I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Raised with love for our beautiful skies, clouds and landscapes I loved coloring and painting always. I attended UNM and received a Bachelor in Fine Arts in drawing and painting and went on to receive my MA in Art Education. Since 2000 I have been in yearly group shows supported by Luna Project and the 9 x 9 Group.
Artist Statement
My art is an expression of joy. It is about the present moment, the process and connection. Painting intertwines with other loves— hiking, backpacking, camping and sailing. In some way there is a reflection from me to you (the viewer), a moment of belonging that mirrors the process with joy and humor.
