Now in my early thirties, I am originally from Russia. I was adopted at age 11 from a Russian orphanage and grew up in Minnesota. I spent the last 10 years of my life in Nebraska and moved to Albuquerque in November of 2021 to pursue my art career.
I taught myself how to paint about two years ago. I am working in a realistic style with acrylic paints on canvas. Painting brought me so much joy that it facilitated my healing. I have become obsessed with painting and improving my skills. My favorite part is to see the subject I am painting come alive on the canvas. My goal is to always capture the true nature of the subject, so when someone looks at my art, they can feel the essence of what I painted. With my work I want to share the beauty of what I am seeing around me, and to inspire others to see it as well.
