Since childhood, art has been a part of Susan’s life. Her love for experimentation with color and mediums allows her to create bodies of work that speak to many. She hopes that her whimsical and colorful style brings the viewers imagination to life. Not only does she explore fine art, she is an accomplished, published, and award winning face and body painter.
Artist Statement
I try to find wonder in the seemingly ordinary. I like to challenge the mind and speak to the heart through each piece I create. I often stray away from my “style” to create something completely different than previous works. I feel this keeps my imagination fresh and allows for experimentation, which leads to growth as an artist and as a human. My hope is that each piece finds a home where it will be loved and appreciated as much as I do and that it creates a whole new story for the viewer.
