Susan Robbins Copus is a retired mechanical engineer living in Tijeras NM. After retiring, Sue embraced the opportunity to continue pursuing new life experiences – including exploring many varied arts and crafts media. For the last few years, her art has been watercolor and acrylic pour painting. Sue has taken local and international painting classes, as well as being a teaching assistant for many of them. She has participated in juried art shows, charity art auctions, and craft shows. She has been a volunteer instructor of life and home skills, outdoors skills, and arts and crafts at various non profit organizations.
Her abstract poured art is meant to engage one's imagination and to prod herself and others to step into the unknown. Her goal is to challenge the limitations and expectations that we and others impose upon ourselves.
